About RO system
The basic working principle of reverse osmosis is: using a special high-pressure water pump, the raw water is added to the pressure of 6-20 kg, so that the raw water infiltration under the pressure of the reverse osmosis membrane with a pore size of only 0.0001 microns. Chemical ions and bacteria, fungi, and virosomes are not allowed to pass through, and only water molecules and solvents with a volume of less than 0.0001 μm are allowed to pass through.
The security filter is equipped with a filter element with a filter aperture of 5 μm. These filter elements will filter out any particles larger than 5μm in size. Protects the downstream RO membrane, otherwise the surface of the RO membrane is extremely susceptible to fouling. The more commonly used membrane type is polyamide membrane, and the membrane type is a roll type composite membrane. The salt removal rate of this type of membrane can reach 99.5%.
Notice:
Since the RO membrane is susceptible to pH, residual chlorine, and water temperature in the water, RO membranes have stringent requirements for influent water quality before operation:
PH value: 3~10
Residual chlorine value: <0.1mg/L
SDI15 value: <5.0
Water temperature: <45 °C
Any one of the above indicators out of range may cause the permeable membrane to be deformed, which will affect the water quality and shorten the service life of the membrane. Different types of membranes also require different water quality requirements. Before commissioning, confirm according to instructions provided by RO membrane manufacturer.
