SmartLoader uses data from sensors and stockpile simulations to provide loader operators with real-time feedback on where to select the next load from within the stockpile. The recommendations effectively manage the variability of incoming ore characteristics to increase plant yield. 

The innovative, RACE21™-fueled SmartLoader system is expected to be rolled out at other steelmaking coal sites in 2022.
