Chairman and Managing Director of NCL Shri Bhola Singh on Wednesday visited Bina Project to review the coal production.

New Delhi: Chairman and Managing Director of NCL Shri Bhola Singh on Wednesday visited Bina Project to review the coal production.

He further motivated the ground forces & exhorted to boost coal production & dispatch amid the growing energy demand in the Country. Shri Singh visited the surface miner face, coal yard, Mobile crusher, CHP loading point, HEMM workshop, etc, and inspected thoroughly the Mining and Coal Dispatch.

The Bina Coal Mine of NCL, the first & Largest Coal Mine in Uttar Pradesh is a fully operating power plant and is located at Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. The Project is linked with Up Country Powerhouses – Kota, Suratgarh, Rajghat & Panipat.

The coal from the mine is evacuated using the Merry-go-around railway system provided by power plants. The mining technique is done with the help of the Dragline excavator truck and conveyor, the conveyor belt to a rapid train loader. 

Power plants located near Singrauli are the primary customers of the coal mine. The coal mine supplies coal to 5 nearby power plants. The Mine achieved coal Dispatch 75,00,720 above the target in 2019-20.
