In this quick video blog, I stopped by the OTC Daihen booth during FABTECH 2022 in Atlanta to catch up with fellow welder Rush Kane, who shared one of his favorite TIG welding tips and tricks: Prepping a tungsten electrode for more efficient use on the fly.

In short, it involved 90-degree die grinder, a 2-inch diamond wheel, and a some tungsten electrodes. He used the diamond wheel and grinder to cut the electrode in half and then finish the shortened rods to fine point. Tungsten Rod Welding
